The brewing process
The brewing process takes just over 1 hour, which starts with the weighing up of all the ingredients, bringing it over to the brewing table and then adding each of the ingredients as required and at the specific time to the brewing kettles. We make sure that the grain is cracked properly , and steep the grain through the mix and then add the hops at different times thoughout the boiling of the wort. Once it has been put throught the hop filter and heat exchanger, we then add the yeast. Getting lots of air into the beer after taking it throught the heat exchanger and hop filter helps the cultivated yeast start to work straight away. We then move it into the temperature controlled fermenting room, which is essential for the consistant production of a high quality beer. Once it has fermented out we then move it into the cold room and condition it. Once it is ready we then tripple cold filter the beer and transfer it to a carbonating keg. Your beer is now ready to bottle/ put into kegs for you to take home. The last process is the drinking part which we are more than happy to help you with should you require it. Enjoy…
