Taking care of your Beer
Due to the fact that all of our beers are free of preservatives and chemicals, as well as being unpasturised so that all of the natural flavours are captured in the beer, it is very important to take care of your beer as soon as possible. Always keep your beer refrigerated at a temperature below 8 Deg C. Your beer should keep its outstanding flavor for up to 6 months and the darker more complex beers will actually improve with age in the bottle.
Things to look out for:-
Small white dots and cloudiness are symptoms of your beer being too warm for long periods of time. In rare cases your bottles may even explode.
Try to keep your beer away from UV light as this has the potential to change the smell and taste of your beer. Believe me you will know this when it happens. ( try to use darker coloured bottles)
After you have finished your beer, always rinse out the bottles and keep them upside down in a cool dry place, and if you have a bottle brush give them a good clean as often as you can. ( we sell them here for $5.00)
NOTE:- Our bottle sterilizing table will not pressure clean you bottles, but will sanitise and rinse them only.
Sometimes, after a few uses, your bottles can end up with a cloudy film inside them (it’s easier to see in the clear ones), even if you’re rinsing them straight away and looking after them properly. It won’t kill you, but it can make it a little difficult to bottle your beer. This is a sign that you need to pay extra attention to them and even give them a soak in some bleach to thoroughly clean them out.
If all that sounds a bit too hard then just keep an eye on the old ones and replace them with some fresh ones as you need them.
